Gamestar Mechanic is a game-based digital learning platform designed to teach children how to design their own games and to think in a highly engaging and creative environment. Students play a quest in which they descover "broken" games that they have to fix or design. They are encouraged to share their games on the Gamestar Mechanics community and to comment on each other's games. They can further see how others play their games and receive feedback both qualitatively and quantitatively (through reviews). Gamestar targets students between the 4th and 9th grades. Resources for teachers are also made available. More info on https://gamestarmechanic.com/.
