The “SEGAN - HCI in Serious Games” Symposium will be held at the 28th BCS HCI Conference 2014, in Southport, U.K.
The Symposium on Human Computer Interaction in Serious Games (HCI in SEGA) is an international and interdisciplinary event, co-sponsored by the European SEGAN project and the 28th BCS HCI Conference. The goal of the Symposium is to facilitate discussion of current research and practice in serious games, and HCI as foundation for the future of SEGA in all fields.
The event is for researchers and practitioners across all related areas of serious games and HCI.
Subject to there being sufficient interest signed up for the event by the 20th June 2014, the “SEGAN - HCI in Serious Games” Symposium will take place on Wednesday, 10th September 2014. The one hour and half session will be one of the main conference parallel sessions in the afternoon, and will be open to all conference attendees. SEGAN delegates may also bring posters to the conference showcasing their own research – these will be displayed at the conference poster sessions.
Participants are encouraged to indicate their interest of participation by submitting a 1-2 page “Statement of Interest” to the symposium organiser (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Thursday, 12th June 2014. Note that the Symposium attendees will be able to attend the conference at the special BCS rates, and the conference runs 9-12 September 2014.
